Country Parlor

The front parlor, in bygone eras, was the one room of the house that was saved for company.  It was seldom used on an everyday basis and if there was a formal room of the house, this was it.  The Cowboy’s Lady would meet her gentlemen callers there. When the preacher came to call or the local ladies came for tea the parlor was the place it would be served. The best furniture and accessories would be on display there along with treasured items.
